We are heartbroken and devastated to announce the passing of Sandy Haines, Director of Group Tour Sales with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB. She spearheaded the motorcoach industry in Myrtle Beach for more than 20 years and built a tremendous motorcoach and group following. She was a part of our organization for just as long and on the board for most of those years. She was so loved by all of us that she earned herself the Lifetime Membership Chair and self-proclaimed Mama of the group. 

She was a mentor to so many professionals in our industry and she loved sharing her expertise on Myrtle Beach and group tourism. She faithfully promoted each venue she represented, and we all found a friendship through her that would last a lifetime.

There was no one like Sandy. She had the best sense of humor, a smile that could light up any room, a wonderful laugh and infectious energy. We all continue to strive to make her proud and continue her passion for the Myrtle Beach area and the group travel industry.
